Get ready fight fans the match many of
you have been waiting for has finally been signed on the
dotted line. "The Bulldog of Brooklyn" Tony Biella
and Little Tony Moose will square off for the
Five Boroughs Heavyweight Championship on June 26th at
The Caputo Arena at St. Bernards in Brooklyn NY.
Biella, has been chasing his dream of
becoming
heavyweight champion since June of 2009 when he
entered the Brooklyn Brawl, a 30 man over the top rope
elimination match at St. Patrick's. Having the odds
stacked heavily against him, as he drew #1 and was the
first entrant, lasted over 45 minutes and was part of one
of the most incredible matches in all of Professional
Wrestling when all 4 of the final participants went over
the top rope seemingly at the same time. A fatal four way
was ordered for October at Holy Angels Catholic Academy.
"The match was won, I was bringing the belt home, Moose
was unconscious on the mat, all I had to do was pin him
and Jason Static took what I had worked so hard for
away with one swing of a metal folding chair"
Due to Static's actions, Biella and
Ryan Roxbury were involved in a 3-way dance for the title
with Little Tony Moose at New Utrecht HS in November.
Again, just as it looked like Biella was going to bring
the title home in his own backyard,
The Peacemaker, (who Biella stopped from using his
nightstick on
Malta
earlier in the night) arrived on the scene and beat Biella
so bad with a foreign object that he had to be rushed to
nearby Lutheran Medical center for treatment. After two
weeks under a doctors current supervision. Biella began
the long road back only to be stopped by Commissioner
Andreas Fudd in early January when Hacksaw Jim Dugan
headlined an ECPW event at
Our Lady of
Guadalupe. "I have the most respect for our owner
Gino Caruso and Commissioner Fudd but a man knows when a
man can compete. It shouldn't be left to those who have
never even stepped foot inside the squared circle", said
Biella.
After another setback when he
dislocated his kneecap and needed surgery in early
February, Biella returned not even 3 weeks later against
doctors orders and won a battle royal earning him a shot
at the title. Even after getting another roadblock thrown
in his path, he overcame a stipulation thrown in by Moose
when he called upon long time friend Nunzio to
defeat him and the Peacemaker. Then there was no-where for
Moose to go.
Little Tony Moose, one of the most
underhanded in the business, has been around long enough
to know exactly how to handle someone like Biella, he
says. "The greaseball is not even in my league. It will be
my honor to wipe him off the ECPW roster and hopefully off
the planet for good on the 26th. He shouldn't even show up
unless he's planning on spending another 2 weeks in the
hospital. tell him that. Be careful what you wish for....capeesh??"
Biella has been training with a
mystery trainer at a remote location and has been
unavailable for comment over the past few days. Rumor has
it, the trainer has some tie to Little Tony Moose and his
minion The Peacemaker but just what kind of tie is unknown
at this time.
Only time will tell. More on this
story as it becomes develops.

PJ AND THE PRINCE: AN ATTACK
ON A NEIGHBORHOOD
When Wrestling
returned to Brooklyn for the first time in over 20 years
on May 22, 2008, the first song to blare out over the PA
system was one of Middle Eastern decent. With the
temperature of the arena similar to that of his home town,
Prince Akkanatan walked down the isle with a devious grin,
truly believing that money, power and oil could take him
to the top of the newly formed 5 boroughs territory.
He entered the
ring, took out his check-book and as he called Fr. Madura
“Rabbi” in a blatant show of disrespect, offered to buy
the church from the Diocese of Brooklyn / Queens for the
oil underneath the building.
The Prince
and his group of underhanded thugs have been
wreaking
havoc across ECPW for over 2 years. To give credit
where credit is due, very few have been able to stop him.
He has been trained by the best in the business. He is one
of the best strategic wrestlers to ever grace the canvas
of an ECPW ring. Getting most of his in-ring education
from his uncle, The
Iron Sheik (A WWE Legend, Hall of Famer and Olympic
Champion). He does not need to use the tactics he uses to
win matches, but he does. Guess that’s what money and
power does to you, even when you don’t have to…..you cheat
to win.
On June 26th,
he steps in the ring with the Fallen Star, P.J. Storm.
Brother of the late and missed Mike
“Tunderbolt” Norton, he comes from a family of talented
and successful professional wrestlers. He is continuing a
life long legacy and is doing it in his own backyard. A
true fan favorite, Storm has close ties to “The Bulldog of
Brooklyn” Tony Biella and ECPW 5 Boroughs Lightweight
Champion Ryan Roxbury, (A group many unofficially call “The
Neighborhood”, since they all hail from
Brooklyn and are a very tight clique in and out of
the ring).
He is quickly
rising to the top of the ECPW ladder and will be the
second member of the group to lock up with the Prince. “I
have been watching a lot of tapes of old matches The
Prince has wrestled. Especially the matches with Biella
from “08 and early “09”. He comes in my neighborhood and
disrespects the best fans in the world and I have a
problem with that. I know his weaknesses and my skill and
ability will overwrite his bankbook. I have the greatest
fans behind me and I know that they’ll give me the power
and the strength to destroy him.” says Storm.
The prince comes
with baggage, heavy baggage. He is managed by The Pharaoh,
a sneaky, slimy individual who has cost many worthy
competitors their match’s vs the Prince. If he receives
his visa and at The Caputo Arena, lurking ringside, Storm
needs to have eyes in the back of his head. I’m sure the
members of “The
Neighborhood” will not be far away, watching every
move.
